I am the founder and sole member of Cedric A. Thibodeaux, CPA, LLC. I graduated from Georgia State University in 1989 and worked with two accounting firms before opening my practice in Atlanta in 1993, to focus on closely-held businesses and individual income tax.

In 2011, while retaining my Atlanta clients, we expanded our client base and moved our primary office to Columbia, SC to be closer to my new wife's home.

We have provided accounting services and financial advise to a variety of professions and industries—legal, medical, architectural, engineering, real estate, farming, retail and restaurants. Their commonality is that they are all
closely-held businesses, in which a small group of owners control the operations, with similar tax issues. But to gain even greater insights and understanding of our clients businesses we provide gratis or complementary consulting services. This varies from financial planning to personal issues. The results have been a better understanding of our clients' needs so we can better help them. Often our clients call us after consulting with their attorney or financial advisor to make sure the advice is wise. Our clients appreciate the extra effort.
